It is with so much heartache that I share this news: Crème Bakery will be closing by the end of October.
This decision has been brewing for a while. There have been many reasons, both personal and practical, and even though it makes me incredibly sad to see this chapter come to an end, I trust this is the right decision for me and for the life I want to build next. An enjoyable, healing life.
I am so thankful for each and every one of my clients, many of whom have become friends, mentors, and supporters. Thank you for supporting this dream, for enjoying the cookies, bringing them to your parties and gatherings, and gifting them to the people you love. It has meant the world to me to see the cookies I made become part of so many special moments over the past three years. Your smile is always my favorite part.
I am especially thankful for my husband, who supported this dream from the beginning, accompanied me to markets and pop-ups, built things with me, and encouraged me through all of it. To my sister and my mom who became my creative team to review all my crazy ideas and designs. To my family who supported this idea 🩷
I leave Crème Bakery feeling so proud of what I built. It was so much more than a business, it was my most intensive, practical learning experience, my creative outlet, and a huge part of my life for the past three years. *wipes tears from her eyes*
As hard as it is to let go of something I poured so much of myself into, I know in my heart it is time to move on.
For our final weeks our online store will remain open through October, with a limited menu featuring some of your favorite cookies. If you’ve been thinking about ordering Crème one last time, now is the time. ❤️
I will continue sharing my baking adventures over at , where you’ll find recipes, videos, travel, and whatever else I feel like creating next. My passion for baking, food, and recipes is still a huge part of me, even if it shifts from time to time.
I don’t know if we will ever reopen the bakery but for now I’m closing this chapter and ready for what’s next.
