“You should open a bakery”
This journey actually began many years ago with much encouragement from family and loved ones. I am very blessed to have learned from awesome cooks in the family-some who are no longer here as well as some that are upon whom I can count on for valuable advice. Trust me, no one will will give you honest advice more than family and friends-unsolicited or otherwise. Along with traditional recipes, I wanted to include options for those with dietary considerations such as gluten-free and vegan. Often times friends and acquaintances have complained about limited selection and accessibility in finding these options locally. I am happy to inform that there is now a local home based baking business that offers healthier quality baked goods. Please call or IM for more information!

Summer has officially arrived and with it the warm temperatures…but also the fruits! The fabulous fruits-blueberries, blackberries, peaches, plums, etc❤️This growing season is one of my favorites. Picking berries until my fingers are stained bluish-purple, closing my eyes to smell that perfectly ripened peach while contemplating which dessert or breakfast goodie to make. Carefully calculating how many “samples” I can eat to just have enough for the recipe🙂
