Let me start off by saying Thank you to everyone that has supported Southern Sugar, my baking businesss, either through orders or advertising by word of mouth and sharing my posts, the encouragement and showing love by liking my posts!
Unfortunately at this time, I won’t be taking on any new orders.
Most of you know I was diagnosed with Thyroid cancer back in November, and had surgery to remove my entire thyroid in Dec.
In early January I found out that I in fact still have Thyroid cancer and will be under going radiation.
So right now I am having to “prep” my body for radiation which is slated to be around the first of March. During this time my energy is zapped and it’s hard to work and continue baking.
After radiation I won’t be able to be have physical human contact with anyone for any where between 7-10 up to 14 days possibly and definitely do not want to share any radiation via food.
So I’m going to use the time away from my baking to concentrate on my health and getting this cancer kicked so I can start back baking for everyone soon (🤞🏻 possibly April)!!
