There are certain things you’re going to be more perceptive to, that other people around you will remain oblivious to. It can be extremely frustrating and disheartening when we try to share our deep knowledge, only to be attacked, ignored or ridiculed. Sometimes it’s just not their time to receive that information. Try not to take it personally. Just love your life, plant seeds of knowledge when your gut tells you to, and put all your focus on what brings you happiness and excitement. ❤️ - admin Lara

Fall themed naked cake. Bottom tier pumpkin spice, top tier Apple spice. Both filled with cream cheese buttercream, and drizzled with salted caramel. Decorated in fondant and modeling chocolate apples, leaves, and pumpkin.

For my last big wedding cake a little while back, I was in need of a squared scraper than was taller than I owned. So I had my boyfriend cut me a beveled acrylic 10 in high scraper. It was fabulous, and made my mountain of work ahead of me a little smaller. In the past he has also provided me with custom shaped acrylic rounds and squares. I'm thinking of starting an etsy shop to sell them, does anyone think there would be an interest in these products?

A collection of some of my cakes. One of my favorite things about cake decorating is I don't have to do the same thing over and over again. Each of my cakes are one time only, and I try to make them as unique as possible, depending on the clients needs 🎂🍰😊❤️

Today's wedding cake! 5 tiers of fondant and sequined covered red velvet and carrot cake. Chocolate figures of the groom, in his paint ball gear, and the bride climbing out from under the cake. Fresh flowers were added at the venue. I will get shots later!

I've reached the tipping point apparently. Every single "people you may know" Facebook suggested friend is now a cake maker person. You'd think I was into cakes or something..

Heart attack!!! After compulsively checking routes and traffic for today's wedding cake delivery dozens of times over the past week, every time it saying an hour and ten minutes, then I get in the car and it says nearly 4 hours to destination!!! I about died as that would have me traipsing through the Ceremony with 5 tiers of wedding cake. Fortunately my phone was tripping, and it switched back to the original time for traveling .
