With the kids heading back to school, my schedule is opening up a little more—and I’ve been busy behind the scenes working on SOME exciting things! 👀✨

Despite all the signs this week telling me I shouldn’t make bread—dropping my starter, the power going out, and a few other hiccups—I still managed to get 16 fresh loaves baked! 💪🍞

I have just 4 loaves left:

Welp original loaves will be delayed as we lost power half way through the bake and eta for power to return is not till 330pm.

🇺🇸 The bread stand is officially stocked! 🇺🇸

Fresh sourdough is out and ready for pickup!

✨ Original loaves will be out in about 40 minutes!

The stand will stay open as long as the rain holds off, so stop by and grab your favorite loaf while they last!

All of today’s fresh sourdough is officially out on the porch at 625 East St. 🥖

🥯 Possibly Everything Bagel!

As always, it’s first come, first served. Thank you all so much for the amazing support!

One quick note: If you pick up bread today, please open the bag as soon as you get it home to let the condensation escape. I had to package the loaves while they were still warm so I could get them out to you as quickly as possible.

Update; Garlic loaves are out now and jalapeño cheddar will be out shortly!

🚨 THIS IS NOT A DRILL! 🚨

In about 1½ hours, I’ll have 8 FRESH sourdough loaves coming straight out of the oven and headed to the porch! 🥖❤️

Today’s flavors:
🌿 4 Garlic Herb
🌶️🧀 4 Jalapeño Cheddar

I’m also working on more dough and hopefully baking 4 Cinnamon Sugar loaves later tonight. After that, I’ll be starting on my Original loaves!

As always, it’s first come, first served!
Payment is on the honor system with Venmo or the cash box on the porch. $10 a loaf!

Thank you all so much for your patience and support while I recovered from my little sourdough setback. Your encouragement has meant so much! ❤️

The plan now is to build my starter back up and, if all goes well, Checkered Flag & Flour will be back at the farmers market Thursday evening! 🎉
