✨ Thank You, Tabor! ✨

I am completely in awe of the amount of support, encouragement, and love that Checkered Flag & Flour received at the Tabor Farmers Merchants Picnic Vendor Fair this weekend!

Not only did I get to meet so many new faces, but I also had the pleasure of seeing many familiar customers who have supported this little dream from the very beginning. For many of you, this was the first time getting to put a face with the baker behind the bread and cakes, and that made this weekend even more special.

This was my very first vendor fair, and I honestly don’t have the words to express how grateful I am. Because of all of you, we sold:

🍞 25 loaves of sourdough
🧁 90 cakes
🥐 12 packages of cinnamon rolls

To say I am humbled would be an understatement. What started as a leap of faith has continued to grow because of this amazing community. Every purchase, every kind word, every share, and every recommendation means more than you know.

You all are amazing! We’ve only been here a short time and I’ve already been spotted by some of my wonderful customers! ❤️

I brought 10 loaves of fresh sourdough this morning, and we’re already down to just 5 loaves left! 🍞🏁 If you’ve been thinking about grabbing a loaf, don’t wait too long!

I was up all night mixing, shaping, and baking MORE SOURDOUGH because you all showed up and sold me out of so many loaves yesterday! Right now I’m waiting for fresh bread to come out of the oven before I head your way.

As much as I love seeing all of you, family comes first, and today I’m heading to Harlan to support my husband at the racetrack. ❤️🏎️

Don’t worry—we’ll be back tomorrow with fresh bread coming out of the oven first thing in the morning! I should have around 9 loaves available, including:

Start your morning with a fresh cup of coffee, lotus or maybe Red Bull infusion (like me) 🤪 from Tabor Brew House, grab some warm fresh mini cinnamon rolls from Checkered Flag & Flour, and check out all the great vendors and garage sales around town!

We’ll be set up in the park from 9 AM - 2 PM with fresh mini cakes, sourdough bread, cinnamon rolls, and plenty of other sweet treats.
