The time has come… 🥹

As you may have noticed, my posting has been very few and far between. I’m a mama first, always, but I’m also a business owner (baking business AND a commercial construction business), wife, friend, daughter, etc.

Out of the Box Bakery has always been a little dream of mine, and if you’re an OG follower, you’ll know that my husband Brendan + friend Jessica are the ones that lovingly forced me (😉) to take this leap. I’ve never regretted it and never looked back. It’s truly been one of the greatest blessings in my life.

The construction firm that we’re operating now has always been Brendan’s dream and I feel that it’s only right for me to fully support and back him the way he’s always done for me. Baking takes a ton of time and when you own another business and have two little ones to chase around and love on, time becomes less and less. I love OOTB with my heart and soul but my babies, husband, and family will always come first.

Baking has always been something I love and being able to play a small part and celebrate life’s biggest moments with all of you is something I’ll treasure forever.

So for now, OOTB will be taking a leave of absence. Not forever, but for a little while. I’ll be back when the time is right.

This isn’t goodbye, just see ya later. 🤍

- 4 dozen cupcakes for a swim meet 🏊🏼‍♂️
- Bundt cake for a friend’s bridal shower 🤍
- a few birthday cakes / sets snuck in here & there!

I always love making floral cupcakes, especially hydrangeas. 🪻🧁

They remind me of the blue hydrangeas in my back yard… a gift from my uncle. He propagated the hydrangea bush in his yard, which had been propagated from the hydrangea bush in my great grandmother’s yard years ago. A sweet little reminder of my Uncle Wes and his hobby while creating within my own. 🩵

This summer has brought the {sweetest} of orders! A couple wedding cakes, a dessert sponsorship for , and -my favorite- lots of birthday orders for precious friends!

As always, I am SO thankful you all allow me to play the smallest part in your special celebrations. Feeling extra thankful for y’all today. 🧁🫶🏼

Happy Spring, y’all! 🌸

Just popping in to say hello! I’m still baking but taking extremely limited orders… trying to treasure this sweet time with my little cupcakes while I can. It’s already going by too quickly! 🥹🧁💕

I’ll catch you up on life in the OOTB family:
- My husband and I, as well as our friends/business partners started a commercial construction business. 👷🏼‍♀️
- We welcomed a furry family member: a yellow lab pup named Dolly. 🐶
- I am signed up for a Disney run later this year… my OG followers will remember my struggle bus content from training for my first half marathon. 😅🤣

I’m baaack! 🍰🤍

Long time no see, {sweet} friends! 💕

The last few months have been full of baby snuggles, toddler madness (in the best way), building a new business with my husband, and not much sleep! (🤪)

I have enjoyed a slow return to the kitchen, baking a few things here and there since our little one arrived back in July. She is the most precious addition to our family and we all just adore her!

My books are very LIMITED through the end of the year and dates for 2023 are already being booked! Reach out ASAP to secure your preferred date and favorite goodies!

As always, I am so thankful for you and appreciate your patience as we have grown our family and adjusted to life as a family of four. Thank you all for your continued love and support! ❤️

Our littlest cupcake has arrived. 🧁💗

Georgia Dale was born 7/13 at 7:45am weighing 6lb4oz and 19in long.

She is a dream and is getting loved on at every turn. Big sister adores her- more than sprinkles, I think, and that says a lot. 😉✨

Thank you for your continued patience as we settle into life as a family of 4. I’ll be back before you know it! 🤍

MATERNITY LEAVE 💗

Out of the Box Bakery is officially out on maternity leave! We do not currently have a return date set but are estimating it to be sometime in the Fall. Please keep an eye out on our social media for an announcement regarding a return date in the coming months.

While we will not be in the kitchen baking, we will be checking our email and social media periodically. If you need suggestions for other local bakers, I do have preferred vendors that I'd be glad to share with you.

Thank you for being patient with us as we add a new member to our family and adjust to becoming a family of four. I look forward to getting back into the kitchen and can't wait to see you all again in the Fall. 💗🧁
