A 12 day road trip.. camping in a camper.. across the country.. with 3 little kids.. not for the weak 😂

We saw Mount Rushmore, broke a couple things on the camper, experienced our first tornado warning with an entire camp ground in Kentucky, learned about driving in torrential down pour, and listened to the Coco soundtrack probably 1000 times.

I hope the kids will remember it forever but we are so thankful to be in a house and not be driving everyday 😂

Next up: Waiting for our stuff - which means our first bake will be coming soon 😉

This cake marked the end of one chapter I never expected to leave.

For years I built custom wedding cakes from my home in Utah. It became my dream job, but over time my dream started to change.

This summer we’re packing everything we own into a camper, moving across the country with our family, and starting over in Virginia.

Not to leave baking behind completely, but to build something that feels even more like home: a neighborhood bakery centered around community.

Sometimes the dream isn’t over.

Sometimes it just grows into something you never imagined. 🤍

It’s funny the things you’ll miss.

Not just the wedding cakes themselves, but the quiet late nights after everyone was asleep. Hell’s Kitchen playing in the background, buttercream on the counters, and me carefully stacking tier after tier in my little kitchen.

For years, this was such a big part of my life. Through military life, raising kids, and all the ups and downs in between, wedding cakes gave me a creative outlet and connected me with so many incredible people across Utah.

This chapter is coming to a close as we head to Virginia, but I’ll always smile when I think about the late nights, the wedding mornings, and yes... Gordon Ramsay yelling in the background while I worked. 😅

What a sweet season it was. ✨
