UPDATE!!!!

We are so thankful for the flood of support! However, it was unexpected how much support came in so quickly. Due to this we are officially turning off online ordering for good and will be selling whatever we have left over the phone or in-person. This means that we will most likely be closed tomorrow.

We do however still have flatbreads, desserts and ice cream available

Thank you so much to everyone who came out, those who wanted to donate, and for all the wonderful tips weve received for our soon to be unemployed amazing employees. If you are hiring, please let us know so we can help our staff.

We haven't found an owner yet, but we found out more about our daughter and her rare genetic disorder is now something our family needs to process and focus on as soon as possible.

We feel so blessed that we had the opportunity to bring kid friendly fun and treats for the last 4 years, and the last 2 being pizza, where we've met amazing people from all over who have came here, shared their stories and let us serve them the Mike's recipe that we tried to save.

To those we've seen post online... I wish we weren't closing, I wish things were different, but here we are trying to process the new future and figuring out life out as we go.

PLEASE come out and grab ice cream, shakes, cookie sundaes, pizza and flatbreads until FRIDAY. We will keep all items available until they're gone.

Wednesday (today) 11am - 8pm

Friday (last day) 11am - 8pm

After Friday? Who knows.

If you'd like to rent the building, check on equipment cost or even request to rent out the space for a party in the meantime we have everything you'd need just send us a message.

It's AMAZING how drastic this tiny place we've come to know as ✨HOME✨ has transitioned over the last few years.

Our owner tore down, rebuilt and preserved this building for the original Mike's pizza, not realizing it would actually be us taking it over and breathing life back into these walls. Then we took it further from a giant kids area to merging Freakin' Sweets into the plan with hope that we can give the town a DONUT - PIZZA - ICE CREAM combo location downtown that they can enjoy year round.

We never set out to own a pizza place, let alone two businesses in Sturgis, but I am thankful for the lessons learned, all the people we've met, our amazing staff and the joy of bringing happiness to those who ventured in here and took the time to give our little slice of home a try.

While we have not settled on a future owner yet, we will remain open until our daughter's therapies start if we can help it. Until then ORDER, support our staff, come in and share your stories and enjoy some Pizza and Ice Cream!

Our Gluten Free Crust has been removed temporarily 😭🚫

We know you guys love our Gluten Free pizza, we even have an award for it! However, we believe in transparency and we want to be honest with you. We are unable to keep our exact Gluten Free crust in house due to inflation.

We know it's affected so many areas of our industry (and many others) and we see how frustrating it can be for consumers and owners alike.

Since we opened this crust has gone from $3/crust to now $9.20/crust. It's just not something we believe we can sustain especially having to charge on top of the normal pizza price for all the toppings alone. I don't want to do it, I don't like to do it, and I don't believe that GF people should have to pay that much to simply enjoy a pizza like everyone else.

I wish we could make something in house but we don't make it from scratch due to the high probability of cross contamination and we want to guarantee our gluten free friends have exactly what they need.

If you are GF and this cost doesn't bother you we will consider reordering them, however if you are open to trying a new crust we can do that too.

We're sorry for any inconvenience or disappointment this may cause, we're devastated too. 😔

Soup of the day: chicken gnocchi

We don’t have an Olive Garden around here and I’ve been dying for some chicken gnocchi, so we gave a copy cat version a try!

Try this homemade potato gnocchi soup served with a breadstick OR try our pick 2 at lunch for a soup and salad or soup and Sammy combo.

I made a large batch this time since ran out unbelievably fast last time. Stop in and grab some until it’s gone!

After 4 years of early mornings and creative glazes, we're making the difficult decision to say goodbye to donuts at My Freakin Pizza and Sweets. Sunday, December 21st will be our last day offering them.

This isn't the news we wanted to share. We've tried everything - themed donuts, special flavors, adjusting our hours - but the reality is that our donut sales just haven't been sustainable. With the changing landscape of bakeries in our community we need to focus on what's best for the future of our team and the future owners moving forward.

To our incredible regulars who showed up faithfully, especially during the holidays, thank you. You made those early mornings worth it. You appreciated the creativity, celebrated the themed creations with us, and became the bright spots in our days. Even when we'd go stretches without customers, knowing you'd be back kept us going.

I'm sad to see this chapter close. Making donuts has been a labor of love for me, and I'll treasure the memories of experimenting with flavors and seeing your kid’s faces light up over my creative designs. But sometimes loving something means knowing when to let it go. 🥹

We hope the future owners of our restaurant might bring donuts back someday. Until then, come grab your favorites one last time this week! We'll be here Wednesday through Sunday.
