Just when you didn’t think they could get any better… 😮‍💨
I mixed this batch of English muffins in my new mixer and WOWWWW. Look at all those nooks and crannies. 🤯😍
Golden on the outside, perfectly soft and chewy on the inside and those airy pockets are perfection.
I swear every batch keeps getting better and better and I’m honestly obsessed with how these turned out.

Off topic but who here drinks matcha? If you do, will you send me your fav recipe? I’m trying to appreciate matcha but thinking I might just be a coffee girl. 😅🤔

OG artisan round and eggs this morning.

What’s the difference between the og round and og sandwich? The og round contains some whole wheat flour which adds a little bit more depth and flavor to the loaf.
The og sandwich is all bread flour baked in a tin pan to give you the classic sandwich shape, perfect for easy slicing and throwing it in a toaster. Personal preference on this one but I love me a good og round loaf.

If you’ve seen my stories, I added a spiral mixer to the mix last week and it’s been a blessing. I don’t miss mixing by hand one bit. The upfront development this mixer gives me is unreal.

I love a good artisan loaf but there’s just something about a soft loaf that feels extra special.
First review on my sourdough milk bread is officially in and I’m so excited about this one.
I genuinely loved the process behind this loaf. It starts with a levain made with milk instead of water and then the tangzhong method helps create that soft, cotton candy like texture. If you’re not familiar with tangzhong, it’s a simple roux made by cooking flour, milk and water together before adding it into the dough.
This loaf definitely takes a little more time and patience with its longer fermentation process but that slow process is what helps build the gluten structure and gives it that dreamy softness.
I’ve added a few loaves to my next preorder drop. We have market week this Saturday then my next drop will open on 5/20 at 8:00am. I can’t wait to see you all on Saturday! 🤎
