Leesburg, Virginia Village shopping Center, 8 AM… Be there! If only it were that easy, the weather is looking a little sketchy but of course all your favorite vendors will be out in full force for the beginning of the Labor Day weekend. Assorted petit fours, brownies, Carmel slab cakes, dirty pies, fresh peach strudel, maple pecan bacon bombs(if you don’t know, you need to get out here!), gluten-free Caribbean rum cakes, Macarons, homemade Stromboli and, if I have time… Baby margarita bundt cakes! Remember folks, in order to provide this variety we often sacrifice quantity. First come, first served. All breakfast and savory pastries baked fresh on the morning of each market. Come git ya some!!
Picture has nothing to do with the message… however, this cake was incredibly unique in that it is the first time I have ever mixed yellow cake with pecan pie filling! Just three layers of vanilla poundcake filled with Pecan pie filling! I can’t wait to hear what the pecan pie loving recipient thinks!

Lots of petite fours for you this morning at the Leesburg farmers market! Today we feature guava rum, Cherry, mocha, lemon, raspberry, orange, caramel and chocolate. We will also have German chocolate cake slabs, passion fruit cake slabs, Almond macaroons, French Macarons, fudge filled butter cookies and an array of puff do pastries. Do come out and say hello, won’t you?

... next thing you know, the house is too small! Due to the fact that children grow, little corners petit fours and cakes will be closed for the rest of this week so that we can move into a larger, more accommodating dwelling. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Also, attendance at farmers markets this upcoming weekend are, at this time, undetermined.

There they are! See ‘em? Trying to hide amongst the cherry and apple dirty pies… Could it,...is it, .....can they possibly be… they are! First time in this country(no delivery above 85th St.).....GUAVA DIRTY PIES!

Also at your Cascades farmers market this morning we will be featuring black forest Pettit fours, piña colada petit fours, Keylime, lemon and vanilla petite fours.
In our “slab cake“department we have chocolate ganache/pistachio and mango rum.
Also today, junior mint brownies, Caribbean rum Bundt cakes, butter toffee peanut brittle and, of course, assorted turnovers. This week featuring strawberry, blueberry, raspberry and almond bear claws.

This is the farmers market weather we’ve been waiting all year for! Can’t wait to see you!
