She’s incredibly passionate about it and refers to it as her “therapy”. After giving birth to my son in 2018, I made a decision to leave my government job as a mental health therapist, in order to spend more time with my son. With my mother being promoted to a Bubby, she was overwhelmed with joy and baked treats just about every single day. Neither one of us could be left alone with her delicious
treats so I proposed we try to sell some of her baked goods.The feedback we received from customers was incredible! I was then able to convince my retired mother to go into business with me. When trying to come up with a name, I thought it was important to consider our background story that lead us to the decision while also honoring my amazing mother...my son’s Bubby.
