HI! Been a little bit!

Thought some of you might enjoy this beautiful historic photo of downtown Staunton. Now Beverley St, but at this time it was called Main St. Do you see your favorite places?

We are incredibly fortunate that so much of this still stands and is thriving.

Hey there, Shannon here. I wanted to show you an update on the Coalter St place.

Here are the pics after the stuff was taken out. That was several months ago, and guess what! We live here now and it's pretty cool.

Gorgeous and surreal - so much time and effort, and all worth it!

One of the biggest projects I have tackled, despite the fact that we did not gut this one.

Still a work in progress, and we will show you more.

Five years ago today, our sweet Orange St renovation was passed along to its new and beautiful owners.

This before was after tons of work had already been done hacking down all of the vegetation around it. It was so much! The house was invisible in the urban forest!!

The smallest one we have ever done, and also one of the sweetest. What an incredible transformation.

Do you remember? Pretty different now!

Been looking through a lot of progress pics for max organization, and will try to update more here. Some of this stuff is pretty incredible. Awesome.

Also super fun remembering the work all of the talented and cool people who have toiled on these massive restorations over the years. One thing I have decided after doing as many as we have now is that we are all nuts. 🥳

These houses! Sheesh.

This is our Covid Baby, 917 W Beverley St, Staunton!

We bought her, started the restoration, and then the world shut down. Like a week later. Remember that? AHHHH!

What a difficult time all around - and also for this project. We had one person at a time working in there for the trash out, gutting, redesign and framing. Safety first, though!

Just looking through this page, and realizing that I had posted the before photos, but never posted the finished product here. Phew! It was a lot. Way more than normal, and normal is a lot!

Thanks to Millpond Photography for hanging out with me in this very BEFORE view of Queen City Concepts' brand new Newtown renovation project.

If we have recently met, we can't wait to show y'all what we do. If you've known us for a while, thanks for your patience between overhaul projects while we worked to stabilize the Masonic for the past year or so.

SIDENOTE: Queen City Concepts is the sister company to Blue Ridge Fine Properties, by Shannon Harrington, and all of our agents extra-understand homes because they walk through renovations with me. This is crucial to me, and I believe that it sets us apart.

Anticipated completion date: September/October 2020.

Let's throwback this sunny Monday to our restoration of 619 W Frederick St, Staunton. We won a nice award from the Historic Staunton Foundation for this one.

When we got it, there had been no back wall to the rear exterior for a decade or so.

619 W Frederick Street is a property in the Newtown Historic District of Staunton, Virginia. It had sat vacant for a decade or more, and the entire back wall was gone, replaced with plywood.

The good news is that it was already gutted - which is excellent considering that access was a challenge on this one.

Formerly a Duplex, and with an addition that was falling off of the structure, we had our work cut our for us.

This home was sold before it went on the market, and the purchasers continue to be thrilled with their completely renovated home, close to Downtown and all that has to offer.

2016 Orange St was our 2018 QCC Project. This was purchased at Auction from the City, and we customized the restoration for our amazing Purchasers. We LOVE their design choices.

Our collaborators were so sad to need to sell so soon, and they have described their experience with doing this project together as "catching lightning in a bottle." We agree! They adore this home, and so did Staunton buyers! Marketed with Blue Ridge Fine Properties, our sister company, it was under contract within hours.
