Mr. hungry caterpillar and his food are finally finished and headed off to the kiddos school. šŸ›

This was a super fun and very time-consuming project šŸ˜‚ before anybody asksā€¦ No, I will not be making another one of these anytime soon. It is the length of my entire arm and I think if I ever sold one Iā€™d charge 4848383 dollars for the amount of time it took šŸ˜‚šŸ’•

Apple c***r ā€œdonutsā€ with homemade caramel off to some very special people today!

I say ā€œdonutsā€ because my donut pans were full up on another batch so I made these with my mini Bundt cake pan.. still works!!

My secret with c***r donutsā€¦ grating some apples directly in the batter.

Attention Leaf Peepers & Fryeburg Fair -goers!

While youā€™re headed up 113 through Hiram, make sure you take a stop at Foxx Run Farm LLC!

They are going to be loaded up this week with all kinds of goodies in their farm stand and are freshly restocked with some delicious Jams and ļæ¼jellies!!

Weā€™ve got a couple fall flavors added including APPLE PIE JAM and SPICED PEACH JAM!

They are limited in supply and both come from a local Orchard.

Additionally, we are stocked with Wild Maine blueberry, strawberry, raspberry, pineapple-jalapeƱo, and much more!ļæ¼

I have some ideas brewing.. so while youā€™re enjoying ļæ¼a slice of Dogwood Accents sourdough bread topped with some fresh jam.. donā€™t forget to follow along!

Canning some PEACHES!
Peaches and pears are my favorite fruit to preserve for snacks over the winter.
Plus, all the scraps can get saved to make jelly and jam!

Ok ok ok I know itā€™s been awhile. I have been busy between work and my crazy gremlins and life .. been doing all the things, but have been really bad at recording or sharing.

So hereā€™s MY PUMPKIN CAKE ROLLLLLLLL. I and sharing this out of the goodness of my heart because if you havenā€™t eaten this, you are missing out.

As a note, recipe to SS at the end calls for pumpkin spice creamer in the frosting. I never use actual creamer at home so I started subbing for 1/4 c cream, 1 tsp maple extract and a pinch of cinnamon. Equally delicious. You do you.

Been a little MIA as Iā€™ve been busy dealing with harvest season and preserving things for our family-
But we took a ride out to Foxx Run Farm LLC to restock some fresh jams today! CARROT CAKE JAM, blackberry jam, strawberry jelly and much more!

While we were there, we said hello to our favorite critters, bub got a quick lesson on milking a goat from Ms Sam and we grabbed some yummy snacks from the stand!

If youā€™re out in Hiram or headed down 113 this weekend- pop in! They are stacked with goodies!!!

PSA: it does not have to be all or nothing. Do what you can do. If you get a deal, take advantage. If someone has extra and shares with you, you are blessed. You do not have to do everything yourself.

I am physically incapable of growing an ear of corn successfully.

When my grocery store decided to sell these for five for a dollar , you bet your sweet fesses I grabbed a couple arm loads and got those shucked, chopped and canned.

Plus, knowing how to preserve your food should definitely be a life skill that everybody should have even if you donā€™t have the space, capacity or ability to grow your garden right now.

I have *never* had success growing big carrots.. and these are beautiful. I only picked a few.. and will definitely be canning a bunch for this winter!

Hidden Veggie Spaghetti Sauce!

One of the easiest ways to use up lots of extra veggies!

I donā€™t really have a recipe for you all.. I just threw in what I had and mixed it til it tasted good šŸ˜†

Pasta sauce is one of my favorite things to can because we use it sooo much!
