Got up early and headed to the farm to pick some figs. Special thank you to Rachael at Rachael Jarvis
Fruit picking is hard work. Support your local farmers and growers. After fighting off the gnats, flies and mosquitoes(got bit 3 times in the neck) and keeping our eyes on the fig-loving peacocks, we secured the figs. Now we can say the jam is made with fruit picked by us. Lol 😆
