STORAGE.
Here to tell you; slice & put in to freezer after a few days. Not fridge.
I didn’t just labor over this fermented goodness for 2-3 days or in your case purchase a premium product for it to go moldy or lose freshness. That is the only downside of having the freshest food.
On my packaging I instruct to wrap individually & then store in bag, but listen I’m just too busy for all that. I want to throw & go-grab & go.
I’m showing you exactly what I do for our household baked goods. If the bread is still sitting on the counter 3 days later, it’s going in my freezer.
This goes for bagels, Cinnies, cookies, & any flavored bread too
I’m using bagels as the example here because they are the most difficult to get apart.
Your baked goods will last up to 2 months this way in the freezer. Longer if you want to wrap up & all that.
Just take apart frozen good, thaw on counter, or toast in toaster, or warm in oven.
People are studying this method now too! It might provide an even lower glycemic response because the starches turn into ‘resistant starches’. These starches resist digestion which then feed beneficial gut bacteria and preventing high blood sugar spikes. Still always learning & loving this craft!
Always here for help if you have any questions when purchasing!
