Today is my 28th Birthday. I have been making cakes for the better part of my life and I don’t usually make myself anything but this year I decided to make it easy and create something beautiful and tasty for my family.
DIY Birthday pastry:

Bake puff pastry sheets at 425 for 10-15 minutes

Beat 8oz softened cream cheese with 2tsp vanilla and 1 cup of powdered sugar

Whisk 16oz heavy cream to stiff peaks and fold into cream cheese mixture.

Pipe or spread filling onto your cooled puff pastry sheet and layer with fresh fruit

Put on second layer and make it pretty. I used flowers from my blooming plants outside 🌱🌸

This is a great spring/summer dessert and hopefully we can celebrate together soon! You can also cut the pastry into shapes but mine wasn’t large enough!
