The most frequent insecurity I hear? There are two: bellies and arms.
A real statistic here - 8 out of 10 pre session questionnaires mention needing extra love toward bellies and/or arms.
I mean, we know what we're taught. Not to have them, basically ๐ and if we do, make sure they're very specific to a narrow expectation. TLDR: don't be a person.
However...seeing that we are, indeed, people who have the grand opportunity to have a body, we often feel like these things need to be void of softness, scars, stretching, shifting...changing.
So let's dismantle that s**t.
When you come to your session, BRING THAT BELLY WITH YOU.
"I can't do this because of my belly -"
Yeah, absolutely the f**k not. Bring that belly into these walls and let's heal the hurt a little bit at a time. This is IT, friend. This life is the only one you get. That belly is it for you.
Quit being so MEAN to it.
I don't really care what size and shape and markings your belly has. I don't care if your arms are chubby. I don't care if you have those little red dots on your skin.
Quit. Being. So. Fu***ng. Mean. To yourself.
