This is a few weeks behind, but this is a cake done for a friend in my class who recently got married. We held a party for her, and everyone brought treats. It looked amazing when it all came together.

This cake was from my neice's wedding. She wanted a naked cake, and her mom made all the flowers and the banner. Such a cute cake for a cute girl!

This was a cake for the daughter of some friends. What a great family and such a sweet bride. I am grateful for the opportunity to do this cake for them.

I'm a bit behind in posting this, but better late than never. This is a cake that I used the carvings on the bride and groom's wedding rings as the design around each layer.

This is late, but I made this weeks ago for my sis-in-law. She had a murder mystery party, and the theme was a wedding where the groom died. Thought this would be fun.

This cake was for my adorable nephew and his beautiful new bride. The flowers were made to match her bouquet. She wanted "bling". Hope it was "bling-y" enough. Love them both dearly.

This cake is for the cutest bride ever. She wanted to walk on the wild side, so I re-created a cake from a picture she sent me. The tree and rings were my idea. I'm glad she is adventurous!

I was asked at the last minute to make some cupcakes for two members of the SHS marching band that had birthdays today. They both play snare drums. I did my best with the notice I had, marshmallows are not the best idea I've ever had. My daughter called as I was frosting them, and asked me to bring the cupcakes 2 hrs. early. Needless to say, I never got the drumsticks on the drums. Darn. It would have been so cute. Oh, well. Go Red Devils!

Making snare drums out of marshmallows. Two things I learned: 1 - marshmallows will not be straight or level, no matter how hard you try. 2 - marshmallows will stick to anything but the frosting you are putting on them. Note to self: Next time, just stay up all night and make the drums out of fondant.
