For those of you who are new here, I thought it was finally time to share a little bit of our story.
Two years ago, Jose and I took a leap of faith and moved from Las Vegas to Springtown, Texas searching for a slower, more meaningful life centered around family, community, and the kind of small-town values we always longed for.
Before moving here, we owned and operated a private chef and catering company in Las Vegas for five years. Food has always been such a huge part of who we are. From intimate dinners and large events to late nights in the kitchen dreaming up new recipes, hospitality has always felt like home to us.
But deep down, we always dreamed of creating something even more personal. A space that felt warm, welcoming, and intentional. Somewhere people could gather over coffee, breakfast, lunch, fresh baked goods, and meaningful conversation.
That dream became The Velvet Crumb Bakehouse & Bistro
What started as a cottage bakery in my home kitchen has slowly grown into something so much bigger because of all of you. Every order, every share, every kind comment, every conversation at pickup… you all helped build this dream alongside us.
Jose brings so much heart and talent into this business with his chef background, creativity, and endless hard work behind the scenes. Truly none of this would be possible without him.
We are so incredibly grateful to now call Springtown home and to raise our family in such a supportive and loving community.
Our hope is that The Velvet Crumb becomes more than just a bakery or bistro. We want it to feel like an extension of our home. A place that feels cozy, welcoming, and full of heart.
