Hello my friends and family!! I can't believe it's been almost a year since I've posted here. I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying this holiday season! I'm looking forward to celebrating with my family and then on to planning my pride and joy's 8th birthday the end of February. Need to come up with another awesome hockey cake idea for my special hockey boy! Thinking of you all and your amazing support you've always shown me! I also want to say a special thank you to my friend Desiree of Sugar Sugar (link below) for making the beautiful hockey themed sugar cookies to match Logan's birthday theme. They were so beautiful (so many compliments!!) and they were absolutely delicious!!! Thank you so much!!

Can't believe I just finished Logan's cake! Ouch - didn't help that I started late nor the time change!!! Oh well - thank goodness we have a late afternoon party! Can't wait to see what he thinks when he sees it! Will post pics later tonight! :)

Hey Everyone!!! Hope 2013 is treating you well!! I know I haven't posted in a while - life as a hockey mom can sure get a little hectic! It's baking time again for me as my little pride and joy just turned 7!! I can't believe how quickly time flies! :) I'm a busy baking mommy as his party is this weekend! Oh how I've missed the smell of delicious cake baking!! Chocolate chip cookie dough cupcakes are fresh out of the oven and in went strawberry cake as well as an apple pie cake! Can't wait to see how Logan's cake comes together! Miss you all! Will post pictures Sunday night! :)

So it doesn't appear that my "All Finished" message posted this morning. I finished at 3:30 AM and was so excited to show Logan this morning! He freaked!! Haha... Love it! Now getting ready for party time!

6 cakes filled, frosted, and fondanted! :) Taking a little hockey break and on to the assembly tonight! :) Need some luck as the top of the "cup" is heavier than I thought! Crossign fingers it all comes together!
