My name is Laura and this is my home based custom cake business in Houston. I baked and decorated my first cake along with my sister in law in 2011 for my nieces 2nd birthday. Since then I have made beautiful and delicious cakes for family and friends. In 2014, I realized how much I had improved and decided to take things serious. I attended Culinary School from May/2014-October @2015 and graduate

d with a Diploma Degree In 2015. I realized that I didn’t need culinary to do what I do as I developed my talent from googling, Pinterest and You-tube videos. Its amazing what you can learn online if you put your heart into it. I decided to create my business “LC’s House of Cakes” from home. I am self taught so there are limits to my talents but I really enjoy challenging myself to try new things. Most of my cakes are covered with fondant as I haven’t perfected my buttercream as of yet. I am a one-woman bakery, meaning I do everything myself therefore I can only take on a limited number of cakes per week. Please feel free to browse my page and check out my cake gallery.
