6 years ago, during the start of the big C, I started this company out of the Greyhound bus station in downtown Spokane after seeing an ad on Facebook for a commissary kitchen spot.
No money. No safety net. Just a dream that had already been living in my head for years and spending countless hours in my little apartment trying to make something someone would love.
At the time, the world felt uncertain for everybody but there was no better time to bet on myself because there was nothing left to lose.
Since then, this business has taken every ounce of blood, sweat, sacrifice, and stubbornness I’ve had. We’ve opened retail stores, closed retail stores, survived economic chaos, learned hard lessons, rebuilt more times than people know, and kept going no matter what got thrown at us.
Today, Breauxdoo has grown into a manufacturing bakery shipping products all over the United States - every single product on a shelf represents a fight most people never got to see.
The late nights. The failures. The stress. The risk. The moments where quitting would’ve been easier.
But we kept showing up, my staff kept showing up, my family kept showing up, GOD kept showing up.
So if you’ve ever supported Breauxdoo in any way — bought something, shared a post, believed in us, encouraged us, worked alongside us — thank you. You’ve built this.
6 years in, and we’re still fighting like hell to earn our place.
And we’re just getting started.
