Spokane SOUP is a micro-granting community dinner empowering ideas in Spokane County. $15 gets you soup, salad, bread, & a vote.

Ideas are presented and the audience votes. The idea with the most votes gets the door money to fund their project!

Pitch Proposal submissions for Spokane SOUP open this Monday, June 1!

If you have an idea that you think could make an impact in Spokane County, now’s your chance to submit a proposal to earn financial support! Community members submit ideas, and four finalists will be selected to present at the event.

At Spokane SOUP, each finalist gives a short presentation, the audience votes, and the winning idea receives the funds raised from the event.

If you’ve been thinking about submitting an idea, this is your sign to start preparing.

Spokane SOUP has a new date for 2026!

Please note that this year’s event has moved to Sunday, October 11. We’re excited to gather with the community this fall at the West Central Community Center for another evening of local ideas, connection, and support. Tickets will go live in early August. We hope you’ll join us!

Some of our SOUP team members attended the Circus tonight to support our amazing fiscal sponsor!

Having SIMBA as a fiscal sponsor allowed us to really get SOUP started. We are so thankful for them!!

This year’s event will take place at , a space that truly reflects what Spokane SOUP is all about: connection, care, and community in action.

There’s also something especially meaningful about this location. The 2025 Spokane SOUP winning project, , is rooted right here in West Central. River City Youth launched a youth-led beautification project in the West Central neighborhood’s Nettleton Triangle, transforming an underused space into a welcoming, community-centered green area.

Hosting Spokane SOUP at the West Central Community Center places us right alongside that impact, highlighting the kind of ideas and community-led change this event is designed to support.

We can’t wait to gather, share a meal, and continue building something meaningful together in West Central at this year’s SOUP on September 20.
