Sweet Melissa's Micro Bakery Hello! Welcome to Sweet Melissa's, I make sourdough breads, bagels, and pretzels. I have always loved baking and starting cooking/baking at age 7.

I make the occasional yeast baked goods (donuts, muffins, buns) as well, so be on the look out for those! Thank you for visiting my Bakery page, I am Melissa Middleton, I am a wife to a wonderful husband and a mom to 3 beautiful children. I love to make food that brings families together at the dinner table. My sourdough bread takes 72 hours to make from start to finish and is all Wild yeast bread

(Sourdough starter), I do make the occasional instant yeast baked good, but I mainly bake with sourdough as it has great health benefits and is lower glycemic index. I bake with Organic flours, Raw wild honey, Organic sugar(when needed), and purified water. While to some that may seem as "extra" I believe that producing goods that I would feel good about my family eating is what a great bakery is about.

My family and I have made the decision to move to Oklahoma and my Bakery has moved as well. Thank you everyone that bought my baked goods and supported my business, you are appreciated more than you know!! If you are ever in Northeast Oklahoma, come by for some baked goods!

Made some Sourdough Boules today and some Jalapeño Cheddar Bagels. Feels good to bake again, I'm baking on a very limited availability still unfortunately, but every other week I can bake if you would like some bread!

My new job has taken a lot more time than I had planned, I am trying to open my schedule up more for me to bake, but I'm unsure when that will be. I apologize to all my customers who enjoy my bread. I wish I could just bake and not have to leave my kids every day, but unfortunately with the economy the way it is I am having to bring in another income for my family. I hope ya'll understand and I'm praying we'll get a break and I can make some bread soon!
