We're bringing mocktails back to Hub City Farmers' Market this Saturday, but only for the day!

Y'all know I've decided to feature one special drink for the first weekend of every month, and this month it's an all time favorite. The Sage Berry Breeze!!

Almost every weekend I hear "what's the one drink I got from you that time? That blackberry with sage." And I know exactly what they're talking about 😂
This blackberry mule is sweet and spicy, rounded off with a sage and blackberry garish that infuses to give a warm herbaceous flavor to the drink.
And, you get your choice of Herbal Tonic included, so your drink can bolster and support whatever you have going on that day 🌿

I've been battling with the inauthenticity that social media loves to garner through constant trends or "algorithm worthy" content, and have decided to create our own little space outside of the algorithm!

This regularly updated "newsletter" will be live, fresh, and shoppable 24/7, with no algorithm or buzz worthy trends. Just good, holistic, farm grown foods and herbal remedies, all produced by the hands that make The At Home Apothecary happen!

My hope is that this newsletter can become the first place you'll go when looking for what we've been creating. It's got all of our fresh produce, new remedies, restocks, and sales that are directly shoppable from the newsletter webpage, as well as photos, videos, blog posts, and links to some of the other things we've been working on.
Because of the way the newsletter works, it will truly be the most up-to-date information available. When we list something online, or announce classes/workshops, they will immediately populate to the newsletter without any extra posting on social media or sending out emails!

This doesn't mean I'm leaving social media all together- I'm just not going to continue trying to create content that is "algorithm worthy". I've run this business, and had a presence on social media for 9.5 years now, and it's starting to feel like I'm working for the algorithm, instead of for our farm and the larger mission behind the Apothecary. So this new space is all about us, and I can't wait for you to join us there!

✨Important update about our future mocktail drink services✨

After lots of consideration (this was a very hard decision) I've decided to make a few changes to our regular Saturday drink service.
This Saturday and next (August 15th and 22nd) will be the last that we will have a full drink menu available at markets.
But, we're not ending our drink service entirely!

🌼 So what's the future look like? 🌼

🌱 The first weekend of every month, we're always set up at Hub City Farmers' Market, and plan to go all out with a speciality drink that weekend. We'll pick a crowd favorite, like our Hot Honey Pineapple Mule, Sage Berry Breeze, or Peach Mint No-jito, and offer that featured drink with your choice of herbal tonic.
Wellness shots will also be available.

🌱 Drink services at other markets we attend will be dependent on the weather. We will post if we plan to have a drink service at a market that isn't the first weekend of the month!

🌱 We are still available for private bookings and events. 99% of private bookings require prepayment, but there are always special circumstances, especially if the event allows us to show up for the community through donations or uplifting individual members.

🌼 What are we doing instead? 🌼

🌱 The farm is growing and because of that, I have so much more magic I want to share with you all ~

🌱 My passion is connecting people to plants, and their medicine, so each week I'm planning to bring free samples, small sips, or specialty products for purchase (like popsicles and hot herbal teas) to market when we don't have mocktails.

🌱 My hope is that this can introduce folks to plants with flavors and medicine that they've not experienced before, opening doors to further healing and conversation.
As the farm starts to bridge the gap between good food, and effective herbal medicine, I'm ready to offer something that's more holistic, well rounded, creative, and experiential.

✨ If you enjoyed our drinks, and all the goodness in them, I hope you'll continue to enjoy the best of the best at the first market of each month, and allow me to introduce you to a world of herbalism beyond mocktails every other day 💚
