Happy Winter Solstice! ❄️ Today marks the shortest day and longest night of the year, signaling the official start of winter. Many cultures celebrate this day as the return of the sun (yay!), and here at The Spartan Pearl, we’re embracing the season with a preview of something sweet! 🌞

Only available through the winter season (December 1 – February 28/29), we’re introducing a special treat inspired by those nostalgic and irresistible Christmas tree cakes. You know the ones. This seasonal boba tea features a black milk tea base (or dairy alternative), infused with vanilla bean and cupcake flavors, topped with whipped cream, our house-made tapioca pearls, and a festive sprinkle of red and green. 🎄✨

You may have noticed a few changes here, and you’d be correct! Kumo is rebranding into The Spartan Pearl.

The Spartan Pearl will be Spartanburg’s first premier boba tea and dessert shop, located downtown in the The Montgomery Building! While things are still under construction over here and I don’t have a firm opening date yet, I’m absolutely thrilled to be making this announcement and can’t wait to share updates with everyone! Soon you’ll be able to enjoy my famous Cloudcakes every day! Be sure to share the news so word can spread about us!

Does anyone here have a 5qt tilt head kitchenaid stand mixer I can borrow for a bit or buy cheap til mines fixed? Mine bit the dust and I can’t bake anything without one :’) just need a mixer, no accessories
