A Little Shop Update 🤍

I’ve made a few changes to my shipping settings, and I wanted to explain why!

You may notice that shipping is now being charged at checkout instead of being built into the price of each bag. I know that can look like a change at first, but there’s actually some good news behind it!

I’ve lowered the price of my marshmallows from where they were before, bringing them down to around $10.25–$10.50 per bag. 🎉

Instead of keeping the price of every bag higher to help cover shipping, I’m now letting shipping be calculated based on the actual size and weight of your order. This makes things a little more fair—especially when someone orders just one or two bags versus a larger order.

So while you may now see a shipping charge at checkout, the price of the marshmallows themselves has gone down. I’m hoping this gives me a better way to keep my prices as reasonable as possible while still covering the real cost of getting your goodies safely to your doorstep.

📦 A quick note about shipping options:
I currently offer both USPS Ground Advantage (Parcel Select Ground) and USPS Priority Mail at checkout. Depending on the device or screen you’re using, you may need to click the shipping drop-down menu to see and choose between the two options.

Thank you SO much for continuing to support my little marshmallow business. Every order, review, share, and recommendation means more to me than you know! 🥰

Thank you for growing with me as I figure out all the behind-the-scenes business stuff! 🤍

Everywhere else might be chomping at the bit to roll out their fall flavors but summer is still going strong here in the south! We are going to wrap it up with KEY LIME Marshmallows! My husband has been begging me to try this flavor for over a year and I must say it is a real winner. Order yours today from the link in comments or stop by the Farmers' Storehouse or The Walnut Street Market after lunch on Thursday to pick up a bag!

There’s just something about a campfire… 🔥🍪

I’ve had a hankering to make a s’mores cookie, and I finally gave in.

When it came to the marshmallows, I knew exactly what I wanted. Blue Springs Bakery at Walnut Street Market makes organic vanilla marshmallows with organic sugar, agave, organic vanilla, and grass-fed beef gelatin. No pork. No artificial dyes. Just simple ingredients.

I’ve had these marshmallows before, and they’re absolutely delicious. I don’t buy them very often because my hips don’t appreciate that kind of temptation… but I think they’re going to make one incredible cookie.

The graham crackers? I spotted these while I was shopping, looked over the ingredient list, and thought, “These will work.”

That’s pretty much how I build my cookies. If I can find ingredients I feel good about serving, that’s what I’m reaching for.

So… meet Grandma’s Campfire Cookie. 🔥

A buttery cookie loaded with milk chocolate, graham cracker pieces, and gooey marshmallows that brings back memories of roasting s’mores around the campfire.

I’ll have a very limited batch at the Cookie Camper this Friday from 11–5. They won’t be on Hotplate this week—they’ll be first come, first served while they last.

If you’d like to see this week’s full cookie menu, I’ll drop my Hotplate link in the comments. You can preorder the other flavors so they’ll be waiting for you when you stop by.
