Testing out a new Baked On Brandywine party idea: an edible painting night!

I baked brownie cakes, covered them with a smooth layer of white frosting, and let the kids use edible “paint” (aka frosting) and paint brushes to decorate their own creations.

This was my first time testing the idea, and while I already have a few things I’d change for the official version…like adjusting the frosting consistency so it crusts a little and is easier to paint on, adding sprinkles for another decorating option, and possibly including stencils for kids who want a little more guidance…I think this could be such a fun party activity!

The best part? Everyone gets to make their own edible masterpiece and then EAT some and take some home to their families.

We changed the age and left off the “Established 2012” to make it perfectly personalized for her daughter’s special birthday!

A sweet send off for a future Husky!

This cookie cake was made for a high school graduate heading off to UConn tomorrow to start his freshman year and join the band. UConn Bound and ready for a great start!

Tonight was the perfect kickoff to the weekend celebrating 7 years of Southington Coffee House!

I had the honor of making this cookie cake for the celebration, and it was so fun seeing it alongside birthday cake, delicious specialty drinks, and the most beautiful charcuterie spread as everyone gathered to raise a glass to 7 wonderful years.

It was such a lovely evening, and I’m even more excited for Sunday’s anniversary celebration and pop up! I’ll be back at Southington Coffee House with lots of sweet treats from Baked On Brandywine, and I hope to see you there!

A little Aurora Princess magic for a very special birthday party!

Custom cookie pop party favors with tags that matched the invitation, a pre cut cookie cake for the party guests, and a special cookie cake just for the birthday girl to blow out her candles on.

And of course, we had to add a little extra sparkle to the cookie pops with a custom crown chocolate mold and edible gold dust.

Everything coordinated and ready to make her birthday extra special!
