Michaela’s Sweets Gluten Free Bakery

I’m Michaela Rose and this is my story of how Michaela’s Sweets started. I came into this world a spunky, independent, curly-top redhead ready to take on the world in my own unique way. At age 2, I was diagnosed with a very rare genetic disorder (Williams Syndrome). Specialists predicted that my capabilities would be very limited, and my life would be challenging, but I had other plans to prove th

em wrong and have been doing so all my life. A diagnosis of several food allergies, and my mom’s diagnosis of celiac disease in 2012, changed the direction of my life. With my family’s support and encouragement, my passion for baking and my dream of owning my own gluten free bakery was born. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with my mom to take on the challenge of creating quality and delicious baked treats. After years of experimenting with flours, we have developed our own secret blend. In fact, it’s so delicious, you’ll never taste what’s missing! I’m a passionate baker and always full of creative ideas! When I’m not creating amazing treats, I love to spend time with friends and family. Some of my other passions are my cats, shopping, painting, Broadway musicals and all things Disney! I’m also an assistant cheer coach at Southern New Hampshire University and have been part of the team since 2014.
