A new month means a few new items !

Oatmeal flaxseed bread- this soft and delicate bread has rolled oats, whole flaxseeds and flaxseed meal in it, a little fiber anyone? It uses a tablespoon of black strap molasses and butter for sweet and texture.

Cinnamon raisin and pecan artisan bread- to get your fall vibes going! Simple ingredients, raisins, pecans, cinnamon, touch of salt, flour…ive got enough extra in my life, I like to keep my breads simple!

Lastly, you may have seen my granola sitting around, maybe not, but it’s there today so go grab it!
This protein packed granola is my go to for simplicity and a top notch breakfast. I use it to top my bowl of fresh fruit to give me my macro balanced breakfast that keeps me going all morning long.

This Easter season, I have truly realized what it means. From the depths of my soul I praise Jesus for paying the ultimate price, I praise God for new grace and mercy each day, and I thank Him for simple reminders each and everyday that he has risen and is always by my side.

Allie wrote this for me this week. the last few weeks have been tough, and her simple request is one that we tend to say w***y nilly, or don’t say because it could show weakness. but truthfully, there is so much freedom in showing your weaknesses. it allows you to share the burden with someone, with your most trusted circle, or it helps you to stay accountable, knowing that others are praying for you to keep on going forward.

i put this sweet and sour simple request next to my work desk. to hold me accountable in remembering to stop for a minute and prayer for my babies, pray for my friends and my husband. pray for myself. Lord knows i need grace and patience.

i’m writing and rewriting some verses that i really want to remember, “confess your sins to one another, pray for one another, so that YOU may be healed. for the prayer of a righteous person is very powerful i it’s effect” James 5:16

praying for others allows us to focus on others, and not ourselves. but how good it feels to pray for someone else! ever think how good it makes someone else feel when they can pray for you?! it’s not an act of arrogance or weakness to ask for prayers and help, it’s an act of humility and self care to ask for help. we as humans were not made to travel life alone.

can I pray for you today? i sure would love for you to pray for me too 💕
