As many of you know, my parents are heading off to their next adventure in Nevada in just a few days. ❤️ Of course, I couldn’t let them leave without making their favorite cake for their going-away celebration!

✨ Rich chocolate cake layered with decadent chocolate ganache filling and finished with a smooth, creamy chocolate frosting. ✨

As a daughter, this is one of those moments you’re never quite prepared for. No one tells you that one day your mom will decide she wants a little more adventure, pack up, and move clear across the country. 🥹

I’m beyond excited for this next chapter and all the memories you’re about to make, but I’d be lying if I said the last three months haven’t been filled with plenty of tears.

Here’s to new beginnings and big adventures!

Next stop: VEGAS!! 🎰💰🌄

If there were ever a cake that could capture the spirit of Nate, it would be this one. 🫶🏼 He was vibrant, kind, and truly full of life. I don’t think I ever saw him have a bad day, and he always greeted me with his warm, familiar, “Heeyyyy girllllll!” 🥹

It was an honor when my customer reached out and trusted me to create this special cake in his memory. I hope it serves as a small reflection of the incredible person he was and the lasting impression he left on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Rest peacefully, Nate. You were one of a kind, and you will forever be remembered and missed. 💙🕊️

It’s time to start testing some new recipes for our upcoming September Farmer’s Market, and this bad boy officially made the cut! 🧙‍♀️🍪

Meet The Big Bad Witch Cookie — our giant, thick, chocolate-loaded chocolate chip cookie! These babies are an inch thick, packed with chocolate chips, and almost the size of my entire hand! 😍

Basically… if you’re going to have a cookie, have a BIG cookie. 😉

The theme is “Murder Mystery” and my direction was “Think roaring 20’s!”

My first time working with edible paint was definitely an experience. I learned to NOT try it by itself because it is not yummy at all 😂

This gorgeous half sheet is a classic vanilla cake with a layer of decadent chocolate ganache and fresh strawberries inside. I’m calling the flavor “Chocolate covered strawberry” and the vanilla cake helps make it not too chocolatey 😍

2 days of nonstop baking and decorating.
20 dozen cupcakes.
That’s ✨240 cupcakes!✨

This was the largest order I’ve ever taken on, and I’ll admit—I felt a little overwhelmed when I first got started. There were definitely moments where I questioned whether I could pull it off. But seeing all 240 cupcakes finished and lined up reminded me just how much growth can come from stepping outside your comfort zone.

These cupcakes are headed to 20 dental offices across Delaware, and I couldn’t be more grateful.

A heartfelt thank you to Middletown Endodontics and Pediatric Dentistry of Middletown for trusting The Wicked Whisk with such an incredible opportunity. Your support challenged me, encouraged me, and gave me the confidence to accomplish something I never imagined possible.

One of my favorite childhood memories is waking up to homemade granola. Instead of sugary, heavily processed cereals, my mom always made fresh granola for us to enjoy.

Tonight, I decided to put my own spin on that memory, and I’m so excited to introduce…

I’ve never worked with fondant so I attempted to make some cupcake toppers tonight just to learn and take my time with it. 🥰

EEEKKKK I’m getting SO excited for this weekend when I’ll truly put my skills to the test in fulfilling my LARGEST order yet! 🤯

My family and I went camping this past weekend so I prepped homemade cheese stuffed biscuits to make in the morning. Weeelllllll, the cabin had no oven 😳

I quickly put on my thinking cap and decided to try to cook them stove top. They. Were. DELICIOUS!!! 🥳

Once again, I continue to amaze myself with my “baking.” 😂 Have a great week everyone, and don’t forget to challenge yourself to do something you didn’t know was possible ❤️
