Look at these beautiful carrots I just harvested 😍 The dark carrots are possibly the richest plant-based source of anthocyanin, which has a whole mess of health benefits! Look it up! And just look how cool they are cut up 😎 Jazz up dinner tonight!
Just dropped off some very fresh cinnamon rolls and chocolate chip cookies! While I was there, I found something that was dropped on the floor. If you are missing something and were at the market recently, please contact me to identify it. Please share so I can get it back to it's owner!
Baked goods are restocked!!
Okay people, let's try this again! This morning's eggs lasted about 30 seconds before they were purchased 😳 Unfortunately, I had to purchase these at $3/dozen, so that's what I've got them priced at too. Trying to keep things reasonable for you all!
If anyone is looking for bulk pickles for canning, please let me know and I can get some for you. Unless bulk amounts are specifically requested, I will continue to just have a small amount for those who like them for snacking on.
Eggs are back in stock, along with some fresh cucumbers, pickles, lettuce, zucchini, one lonely summer squash, and beets! I also picked up more onions, tomatoes and potatoes. Open for self-serve 24/7 and I'll be here tending the garden for a bit today if you want to stop out and say hi!
Bread and chocolate chip cookies have been replenished!!
Get 'em while they last!!
I have some t-shirts left from the tractor show! Adult and youth sizes available. On sale this week for $18 for adults and $15 for youth.
EXCITING NEWS!!! Beginning on Monday, we will have NEW HOURS! The market will be open 24/7!!!! Sound too good to be true? Well, it's not! We will switch to self-serve on Monday because apparently I have to go back to being an adult now and stop working for free so much 🤣 Thanks for all your support and I hope the new expanded hours make it easier for everyone to get what they need! Baked goods may be sporadic during self-serve, unfortunately, so I will try to post when I restock!
We have a few lost and found items from the tractor show on Saturday. They can be picked up noon-6 this week during business hours or let me know and I can set them on the porch for you to pick up after hours! I'd really like to know who lost the wheel and how it went unnoticed ... 🤔
We will be closed on Monday, July 4th, to recuperate from yesterday and to appreciate the freedoms we have in this country. Thank you to all of the Patriots in this country who are dedicated to ensuring we keep it that way!
" Perhaps you and I have lived too long with this miracle to properly be appreciative. Freedom is a fragile thing and it's never more than one generation away from extinction. It is not ours by way of inheritance; it must be fought for and defended constantly by each generation, for it comes only once to a people. And those in world history who have known freedom and then lost it have never known it again." ~Ronald Reagan
A huge thank you to all who helped to make the Leland Jensen Memorial Tractor Show a success again this year! Thank you to those who helped keep the market and events running, grilled food, brought tractors, to the vendors who set up, to those who let us borrow equipment to run our activities, and to everyone who came and had fun with us!
Mr. and Mrs. Wing were chosen by my Grandma as the trophy winner for the purple and white Farmall BN this year! Grandma liked that it had two seats and steering wheels. She said she could see my grandpa driving her around on one like that ❤️❤️ So long as grandma is able, that's how we will decide who gets a trophy. Whatever grandma likes best that day ❤️❤️
Also, a special thank you to Rose the chicken who put in a long day's work and handled it like a champ... She may run away from children for the rest of her life, however 🤪 (She is back to her normal free-chicken self today for any who may have been concerned about her yesterday) We were able to raise $117.50 through chicken bingo to donate to Dizzi Daze, so a huge thank you to all who bought squares and cheered Rose on!
I didn't have time to take many pictures yesterday, so if you did and would like to share them I would love to see them!
Don't forget to come out for all of the festivities starting tomorrow!!
The schedule for Saturday's events at Country Harvest are as follows:

Baked goods will only be available Thursday-Saturday this week to give me some extra time to prepare for the Leland Jensen Memorial Tractor Show on July 2nd!
