Hello family, beloved Cousins:
Our reunion will be held during the traditional fourth (4th) weekend; August 26-28, 2016. This year we will celebrate our reunion in Atlanta, Georgia. I would like to thank Danny Baker who has been working and helped us locate a hotel to accommodate our families, guest and activities. We are pleased to announce that The Hilton Perimeter Suites, 6120 Peachtree Dunwoody Road, Atlanta, Georgia 30328 is where we will celebrate our 47th Family Reunion!!
The Hilton Suites offers the following accommodations:
Standard King Suite Sleeps 4 $99.00 + tax= $117.86 per night
King Peachtree Suite Sleeps 6 $129.00 + tax = $152.06 per night
We are requesting that you send your first night (August 26th) room payment to our treasurer. We have reserved a block of rooms. You are responsible for paying the second day at check out (August 28th). We encourage our relatives in Atlanta to stay at the hotel with us! This will allow time for us to visit and get caught up on family stories! Please fill out the registration form attached and return to Elaine Means, Treasurer.

Please make plans to celebrate with us this year. Our family has experienced happy occasions like welcoming new babies, graduations, weddings, new jobs and retirements to name a few. But we have also lost dear loved ones and sickness has visited many of our families. However, God’s grace and mercy still abides and it is very important for us to come together to support one another and pause to remember our heritage and deep rooted connections! Don’t wait to next year; the 2016 Reunion is the time to share our love and gratitude for each other and being a part of a “Family That Prays Together and Stays Together.”
We have worked very hard to keep cost low. The monies assessed will go toward the cost of breakfast and snacks and drinks (non-alcoholic) provided in the Hospitality Suite. If you will not be able to attend please feel free to send a donation to help support our reunion. Your donations will be included with the generous donations that are collected during our Spiritual program, which will occur on Saturday, August 27th this year. Our love offering finances; donations made to senior citizens, hospitalized family members and condolences. Also the years that our reunion is held in Greenville, SC the donations help fund a reception for our out-of-town family members. We are thanking you in advance for the donation you will make to support these blessed missions.
