Our ridiculously chunky cookies and cream stuffed cookie 🍪 😋
One of the secrets behind our delicious cookies is patience! We refrigerate our cookie dough for a couple of days before baking, and there's actually some science behind it.
During this resting period, the flour has time to fully absorb the moisture in the dough, creating a richer texture and deeper flavor. The fats also have a chance to solidify, which helps the cookies bake more evenly and prevents them from spreading too much in the oven.
Think of it like marinating your favorite meal—the extra time allows all of the ingredients to come together and develop a more complex, homemade flavor.
The result? Cookies with a deeper, richer taste, soft and chewy centers, and perfectly crisp edges.
We believe great cookies are worth the wait, and taking the extra time to let our dough rest is just one of the ways we ensure every batch is as delicious as possible. ❤️🍪
