The before and after shot! 😀 I try to use the freshest produce I can find for all my pies. In this case I grew the pumpkin in my garden, but had to go to the store for the strawberries. It was a privilege to make these pies for a sweet family as a Labor Day treat.

Lemon meringue, cherry, and sweet potato pie all ready for delivery in the morning! This was my first attempt at sweet potato pie. Let’s just say I’ve learned a lot today, and will be doing some tweaking to my recipe.
