Owned by Jamie Rutherford, baker, artist, author, pharmacy technician. I'm Jamie, and I've lived in Shelbyville for most of my adult life. I started baking for my family shortly after moving here, even trying my hand at a sourdough starter. Sourdough and I have gotten along pretty well! o, my current starter was 'born', as was the idea for White Raven. I have a Master's degree in Fine Arts (painting), and I am also a certified pharmacy technician. And now, I am a certified and registered cottage baker.

For those who have asked, yes, I am still planning on doing markets this year. This year was off to a rough start for me (multiple things including being sick for weeks), so I took a break from posting and slowed down on baking. I may do things a little differently moving forward, but I will be baking :)
