This Dolly quote has hung on our office bulletin board for years. As we built Salty Britches, we knew we had to get out of the shop, show up in person, build a community. Dolly was right. “You have to put some wings on them dreams.” Thank you, Dolly!! You inspired us. Well done. 💔

WHAT A WEEKEND for the SALTY FAM!!!
Kelly and Sarah Kelly Swanson came in 2nd overall and Pierce Showe came in 3rd overall at the Trail Racing Over Texas Habanero 100!!!! Mike McCalley crushed Leadville for his 3rd leg of the Grand Slam of Ultras and Andrew Glaze set a PR at Leadville, didn’t puke (👏) and has two days to reset to race across the pond!! Incredible accomplishments!! We are always inspired by those who do incredibly hard things!!

It feels like we’ve always known Amy Stevens Tucker and 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐲 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐬®️ Salty Britches, the product that was created outta her mama heart. Both Amy and her products have been a staple at the Jewel and at Team Baker’s house over the years.

Salty Britches is fierce enough to handle military special forces and gentle enough for kids’ skin and all the bits that get rubbed while running. Amy is fierce enough to create a product, share it with others, and, as a woman-owned business, navigate some of the most male-dominated spaces in the country... and do so with grace.

(Also, I sweat. A lot. Like, a lot-lot. Like fling it all over the wall while I’m doing treadmill workouts, a lot. And Salty Britches is the only thing that’s ever stayed on my skin.)

So, for the hot Georgia sun... we’ll have Salty Britches at every aid station, thanks to Amy’s generosity.
