Although it’s one of the hardest decisions I’ve had to make, I have decided to close Mousse Boutique. This closure does not mean an end, it’s only the start of a new beginning for me to continue being creative, and exploring new opportunities. I will continue to share my creations on here, but just in a different way.

With my kids going back to school, it frees up some time for me to learn and experiment in the kitchen. This fall-inspired flavor combination with chocolate mousse and hazelnut praline was a perfect start!
The chocolate mousse infused with ginger and lime was so delicious, but learning how to make cocoa glaze was definitely my favorite part! So I ended up with more glazed cakes than I initially was planning 😄

Which one would you choose, the mini cake or regular cake?

These melt-in-your-mouth layers are what dreams are made of! As simple as it looks, I find the process of making this cake the hardest (and longest). But after experimenting with different recipes, the result is totally worth it!

Life happens and we all could use a little pause! This energizer bunny here needs to take a little break from cake business and take care of personal business —taking care of myself, family, and mostly helping my girls with their remote learning!

But no worries! I can’t stay away from my cakes for too long. 😄More information to come about potential master classes and new delicious inventions from my own kitchen!

Hello my lovely Mousse Boutique fans! 👋

How is everybody’s summer going?

Mine has been “Oh so busy!” So much has happened in my personal life: we celebrated our anniversary followed by my birthday (I turned 29 again but that’s another story 😜) and experienced our first house-hunting!!! The whole process of buying it, moving out from apartment, and moving into the house was way more challenging than I’ve expected 🙃
