We continue to pursue finding a location to sell our baked goods. After another application being declined after over a month waiting for a reply to another farmer's market, we inquired to the reason. The manager of the market said they are filled to capacity in our "category". This means vendors who sell baked/food goods and that they give priority to returning vendors of the previous year. Also, they mentioned future years they are trying to add more spaces for vendors.

Update: Our application to sell at the Edmonds Summer Market was approved in early February. However, we just received a message that there is quite a large number of vendors which have applied and we have been placed on a waitlist to sell at the market which begins in May.

As it has been disappointing, we immediately began pursuing other places to sell. Being a Pop-Up Cottage Bakery, it can be challenging with low availability, permits, and regulations.

Mark mixed and baked his chosen 5 different cookies to be offered followed by a taste test for the best amount of time to bake them.

It was a busy Friday at Mark's Oven.
Having fun mixing, baking, decorating multiple specialty cookies using both fondant and color flow icing.
A special gift for Mark's grandma and her friends.

After the winter months, we'll be selling baked goods on a regular basis beginning in Spring 2025. Dates and locations will be posted.

Mark's Oven made an appearance for a Car Show at the Meadowdale High School in Lynnwood today! Wonderful experience meeting so many awesome people of all ages coming to the table to take "Mark's Challenge" to try to win a free cookie. Super fun day!!!!
