Weekend Market Rockstars | $17–$21/hr + tips | May–November
Hey Scotch Plains fam! 👋 I’m Gabrielle, the baker behind BITE ME Bakery on East Second Street. You’ve probably seen us slinging the life-changing bagel sandwiches at the Scotch Plains Farmers Market 😏 We also do cake slices at Savory Selections Catering, and you might’ve caught us at events with SPHS, Coles, School One, and the Township!
Now I need a few awesome humans to join the BITE ME Crew this season!
The gig:
Saturday mornings at the Scotch Plains Farmers Market + occasional Sundays in Summit.
You’ll roll up with me, unload the van, set up the booth, and then it’s go-time:
• Chatting with customers & running sales 💰
• Slicing bagels + building those famous sandwiches 🥓🥑
• Cooking eggs on the flat-top 🍳
• Restocking goodies + keeping the vibes high
• Pack up and high-five at the end 🙌
The perks:
$17–$21/hr based on experience — and if you can run the booth solo, you’re at the top end.
All time is paid — yes, loading, setup, and breakdown too.
Tips included — market people are generous 😉
First dibs on our fresh bagels.
You’re perfect if: you’re friendly, early-morning-friendly-ish, can hustle when it’s busy, and won’t flinch at the smell of bacon at 8am. Food experience is a plus, good energy is a must.
