As today comes to a close, it is with a very heavy heart that I must share that earlier today, my brother Fred entered into the presence of Jesus. He was steadfast in his faith and love for his family.

Our day started quite normally with him making coffee at the shop and him bantering with some of our customers. Since I’ve owned the shop he has been a permanent fixture there always helping me out as he had all my life. Without even thinking I counted on him and he would always be there. I have a tremendous peace that I know i will see him again. I am very thankful that he did not suffer but my heart has a big hole, someone is now missing and I cant believe he is gone. I know many of you have known this same grief.

I chose this picture to share with you because he is with two people he was very proud of and whom he would tell he loved them. His son Ricky and my daughter Becky. He loved and trusted them immensely - even though we got the I Don’t Care response more often than not.

He would almost always say Love you Leen to me at the most unexpected times I will miss that and him.

Til we meet again I love you Fred.
