I finally found my DREAM hutch to complete my tea station! 🥹🤎 I seriously can’t stop staring at it!

I thought it would be fun to give y’all a little tour. ✨

I’ve been searching for the perfect statement piece for my dining room to display all of the herbs and teas I’ve been collecting, and this is exactly what I had envisioned. Now that I finally have the space… it’s officially time to start collecting alllll the Rae Dunn mugs and tea pots! ☕🥰

One of the old-school ways to test if soap is finished cooking is the “zap test.” 😝

If it feels like you licked a battery ⚡… it’s not done yet!

I was sooo nervous to try it for the first time, but thankfully there was no zap, which meant my soap was fully cooked and ready for the next step. 🙌

Definitely one of the more memorable parts of learning to make soap! 😂

POV: You discover all the things you can make with tallow and make 4 different things in a day… 🤭🐮

It’s been a FUN few days of tallow testing! Taking a humble ingredient and turning it into something luxurious is exactly my kind of fun.

And this is just the beginning! Who knew animal fat would become one of my favorite things to work with? 😂✨

New skill unlocked 🔓✨

This past week, I learned how to render tallow! 🥰

I love being able to take a byproduct that might otherwise go to waste and turn it into something incredibly useful. Not only is it budget-friendly, but it’s also a great way to make the most of every part of the animal and live a little more sustainably.

Why all the hype about tallow? ✨

🐄 Rich in skin-loving vitamins A, D, E, and K
🐄 Deeply moisturizing and nourishing for the skin
🐄 Naturally compatible with our skin’s oils, making it gentle and easily absorbed

I plan to use this tallow for skincare balms, lotions, soaps, cleansing bars, and even cooking!

I can’t wait to take y’all along on this journey as I learn more about tallow and discover all the ways it can be used. 🤎

I loveeee my freeze dryer! ❤️

It gives me the convenience of ready-to-go meals without sacrificing nutrition—something that’s really important to me.

One habit that’s been a game changer is making a double batch of dinner and freeze-drying half. On those nights when it’s 6 PM and I have absolutely no idea what’s for dinner, I can pull out a homemade meal in minutes instead of resorting to fast food. 🎉

Future me is always thankful when past me remembers to freeze-dry dinner. 😂

3-Ingredient Lip Balm? 💋✨
Sign me up!

I was surprised by how easy this lip balm was to make. All you need is:

✨ 3 parts carrier oil (olive, coconut, almond, sunflower, etc.)
✨ 1 part beeswax
✨ 1 part butter (shea, cocoa, or mango)

That’s it! Simple ingredients, simple process, and a lip balm that works beautifully.

This is one more item I can cross off my grocery store shopping list and make myself at home. 🤎
