Tasted this incredible Liberica at in Saigon. The rarest coffee you've never heard of grows on trees sixty feet high. Less than 2% of worlds' coffee production. Immune to the rust disease destroying coffee farms across Central America. Bold, smoky, sweet dark fruit flavor. The best part? Naturally lower in than Arabica. Vietnam changed the way I think about coffee.

Just back from visiting coffee farms in Vietnam. While those beans make their way here, I'm roasting this organic Ethiopian. Bright, fruity, and fresh. Roasted the day you order. Pick up locally in Maine or we ship anywhere. Order at blackpoint.coffee. Link in bio.

My guide Red has been coming to Les Monts since before specialty coffee was a thing in Vietnam. The head roaster's Ethiopian Worka Winey, anaerobic natural process, was berry, chocolate, and wine in a cup. That same care goes into every bag we roast at Black Point Coffee. I paid $15 for a single cup of coffee in Saigon. Six seats. No music. No artwork. Just the coffee. I tasted jasmine, melon, and peach. This is what happens when coffee is taken seriously. Roasted to order at blackpoint.coffee — link in bio

Cupping fresh new coffees with the LộcRừngCoffee(Nature’sGift) team along with from international importers known for their support for local farmers and a fantastic roaster from Hanoi.

Lộc Rừng (which translates to "Wild Forest") is a specialty coffee project based in the "invisible village" of Đưng K'Nớ, located in the Lạc Dương District of Vietnam's Central Highlands.

The project is led by a young team focused on sustainable agroforestry and supporting the local K'Ho community.

Key Management & Leadership:
Quynh: The primary driver behind the coffee side of the project. She established the processing station and manages the partnerships with local K'Ho farmers. Her family also operates an eco-resort near the forest focused on K'Ho cultural preservation.

Kate: Born in 1996, she is one of the project's leaders and has a background in coffee quality grading and education. She is often the main point of contact for international roasting partners and handles much of the communication and logistics for exports.

Leo: Kate's partner, who works alongside her on the hands-on aspects of farming and processing.

Project Focus
Sustainable Farming: They exclusively follow sustainable principles, focusing on high-altitude Arabica (grown at approximately 1,500–1,800 meters).

Community Partnership: The team works with approximately 15 year-round employees and expands during harvest to support local families, helping them secure land and preserve traditional farming methods.
Coffee Nursery: Established in 2023, their nursery focuses on crop security by sharing quality Arabica seedlings with community farming partners.

Great Cherry is an important coffee producer in Dak Lak, Vietnam that specializes in elevating Vietnamese Robusta coffee through modern harvesting and processing techniques.

Great Cherry operatea as a wet mill (buying cherries from local farmers and cooperatives) and a dry mill (sorting and preparing green beans for export).

The station produces high-end coffees such as Honey 97, Anaerobic Natural, and Washed specialty Robusta.

They focus on selective handpicking of only ripe cherries to ensure consistent flavor quality, and support local farmers and "help kids in need" as part of their social cause.

This site at 60 Vanh Dai Road, Buon Ma Thuot serves as the central office and warehouse for managing exports and domestic distributions.

Great Cherry recently gained international recognition, including a 2025 milestone cooperation with Crop To Cup, a major U.S. specialty coffee exporter. They also work with local experts like Thanh Toan to bring unique processing styles to scale in the Cư M'gar region.
