Fun fact! Did you know that everything I make (unless it has the word honey in it) is technically vegan? Why is that? Well…. I personally am mostly vegan and wanna eat baked goods so I mainly do it for me 🤣

Morning! I am OPEN today & tomorrow from 9am-5pm or sold out here at The Lodge Carts in Scappoose. Trying to add new products is a real challenge sometimes because I run out of fridge space but I was able to change some things up and add a blueberry focaccia with a lemon glaze today!

This week is regular garlic and also the jalapeño cheez week! I hate it ! Why in the world did I decide to add garlic every week I just walk around smelling like roasted garlic 😭 I know yall like it but ew lmao

Sometimes I forget that I’m capable of making bread. I just told my husband I wanted to go get some bread and he looked at me and was like “bro… you literally make bread for a living just go make some” so I guess I’m going to make a plain white sandwich loaf 🤣

I find this so cool, when I’m scoring my loaves before they go into the oven you can see the gluten network that has formed. If you can’t really see it that well, it’s also a good indicator that The dough hasn’t proofed enough yet

Good morning and happy Sunday. I am OPEN today at The lodge carts from 9am-5pm (or sold out)!

I also am still holding the Fundraiser for the Freimuth family, so 10% of all profits from this weekend will be going to them at the end of today 😊

I have my favorite flavor this week, honey oat, so I finally decided to actually save myself one. Sometimes when I’m surrounded by bread all weekend the last thing I want is bread but then Monday or Tuesday comes around and I’m all sad that I have no bread 😅

Just a reminder that I do accept bartering! This week I won’t be able to accept any eggs but will take things like vegetables, fruit, honey, maybe veggie starts? This is something I accepted last week which was two amazing artichokes! Show me what ya got! I’ll be open tomorrow and Sunday 9am-5pm or sold out 🙂
