How very fitting that this cake was themed after the movie, Inside Out. Over the past 10 years I have made cakes and cookies for many friends and family. One of my greatest joys is knowing that I am able to create something special for someone's special occasion. I've always baked with love in my heart, and I think, judging by some of my repeat requests, people know it.
However, it has become increasingly more difficult to balance a full time job and being a full time single parent of very active children... and making cakes has become more stressful than joyful. Consequently, this cake... with all of its declared emotions... Will be my last cake for a while.
A special thank you to everyone whom has ever contacted me for a cake or cookie order, or shared my name with someone else. It's an honor to have been 'invited' to so many celebrations, and I hope to once again find my way back onto the dessert table. This is not goodbye from Stepford... Simply... See you again later.
