All cakes are made from scratch in historic Savannah, Georgia, the "hostess city of the South". As a baker, I love to see the facial expressions when my sweet treats are eaten. Even though I will not see my customer expressions, it excites me knowing I can spread a little joy. "Baking Happy Memories". The fruitcake is a dark and dense cake sure to be a hit. The recipe has been in my family for gen
erations. It is full of candied and maraschino cherries, pineapple, candied citrons, pecans, walnuts and has an amazing flavor. Not the dry store brought fruitcake from your youth. If you are not a fan of the cake, you may be converted. Available with and without alcohol. The Cream Cheese Pound Cake is a delicious rich, buttery cake. It has an extra moist crumb and a perfect dense, tender texture. Traditionally made with 1 lb. each of butter, sugar, eggs, flour and vanilla extract. These cakes come in various sizes and are individually wrapped. The above two cakes can be shipped anywhere in the US. The following cakes are currently only available for local pick-up or delivery.
* Carrot Cake -not your traditional carrot cake, loaded with fresh carrots, raisins, pineapple, walnuts and topped with delicious cream cheese frosting. Also available in cupcakes.
* Red Velvet cake is very moist and topped with delicious cream cheese frosting. Various sizes with option of chopped pecan or walnut topping. Also available in cupcakes.
* Key Lime -very moist and great key lime flavor, topped with delicious cream cheese frosting. Also available in cupcakes.
* Strawberry - a very moist and delicious cake, that melts in your mouth, with chopped strawberries in the batter; topped with a homemade strawberry frosting.
* German Chocolate Cake -a moist and light cake with just the right amount of sweetness, topped with homemade pecan coconut frosting. The carrot cake and red velvet have the option to include piping for free. Please contact me if this is desired.
