Bread Basket Bakery, serving our community by donating all our profits to organizations including
the Business for Good Foundation – to end hunger and food insecurity. Bakery Hours:
Monday: Closed
Tuesday - Sunday: 7am - 3pm

Cake Shop Hours:
Monday: Closed
Tuesday - Friday: 8am - 4pm
Saturday & Sunday: 8am - 3pm

Born in 1982, Bread Basket Bakery grew into a thriving

staple in Downtown Saratoga Springs over four decades. In 2020, Ed and Lisa Mitzen, the founders of Business for Good™, purchased the bakery, committing to keep the same delicious recipes that made Bread Basket successful. As Good businesses, only one thing changed: all profits from the Bakery and Cake Shop are donated to Business for Good to fight food insecurity and hunger.
