🥟✨ OKAY… I HAVE SOMETHING NEW TO SHOW YOU GUYS. ✨🥟

DUMPLINGS. 😂🥟

I have been SO excited to finally share these because they might be one of my favorite things I’ve made yet.

These are my take on the little dumpling fidget/squishy-style treats I’ve seen around the cake pop world. I’ve seen similar concepts being made by other creators, so I definitely don’t want to pretend I invented the idea! ❤️ I just hadn’t really seen them being done around here, and of course… I had to put my own Mama Mia Makes spin on them. 😂

And the whole reason I made them in the first place?

My niece is OBSESSED with the real dumpling squishies. Really all squishies. She wants a squishy bday party😂 She loves them, so I thought, “What if I made her an edible one?”
And then somehow that turned into this

They’re about the size of one of my regular circle cake pops, and this first batch is FUNFETTI! 🎉

And YES, the kids got to be my official first taste-testers.

PLEASE watch the video, because the scream when my niece realized she got the GOLDEN DUMPLING absolutely killed me. 😂😭💛

And the funniest part?
I DIDN’T EVEN KNOW WHICH ONE WAS THE GOLD ONE. Not only that but Brycen chose the golden one then Changed his mind lol.

I made them, put them all together, and genuinely had no idea who was going to end up with it. So her reaction was 100% real.

My very first market… and what a weekend it was. ❤️

If you had asked me the day before the market how I was feeling, I would’ve told you I was terrified. 😅 I was questioning everything… Did I bake enough? Did I bake too much? Would anyone stop by? Would people like my treats? Was my display good enough?

Now that it’s over, I can honestly say I never could’ve imagined how much this weekend would mean to me.

This was my very first market with Mama Mia Makes, and while it wasn’t perfect, it was everything I needed it to be.

It was a Christmas in July market, so I had so much fun creating festive treats like my reindeer Rice Krispie treats, wreath blondie bites, cookie pops, cake pops, and more. Seeing people smile at my creations made all the hard work worth it.

One of the biggest compliments I kept hearing was how beautiful and eye-catching my display was. I spent so much time planning every little detail, and hearing that made me so proud. A huge thank you to my dad for building the wooden back to my display that helped bring my vision to life.

This weekend also reminded me how lucky I am to have such an incredible support system.

💗 My mother-in-law spent all day Saturday helping with my sweet six-month-old daughter, covering bathroom breaks, and helping transport my display.

💗 My mom and my boyfriend’s family came to support me.

💗 My friend Ellie stayed behind to close my booth on Sunday so I could leave early and get ready for a very important wedding I was honored to be involved in.

And I can’t forget my little girl… she may have been my best salesperson. 🥹 She smiled at everyone who walked by, happily watched the world around her, and charmed so many people all weekend long. She was such a happy little sidekick.

One of my favorite parts of the weekend was meeting so many amazing vendors. I made new friends, traded treats, laughed, learned so much, and truly felt welcomed into the vendor community. Those trades were honestly so much fun!

One of the sweetest memories was meeting a young girl with a name similar to mine. We traded treats, and she gave me the sweetest bracelet with my daughter’s name on it along with a pair of earrings. It’s something I’ll always remember from my very first market.

It was also so nice seeing a familiar face when Pyles stopped by and didn’t hesitate to pick up a few sweet treats. Thank you for supporting my little business—it truly meant a lot.

Even though Sunday was much slower than we expected, I still learned so much. I learned how to better estimate how much to bake, how many samples to prepare (although I’m happy to say at least three customers bought treats because they tried a sample first!), and what kinds of products people gravitated toward. My cookie pops, cookie crumbles, and two-packs were some of the favorites, and I now know I definitely need to bring more of those next time!

I also came home with so many ideas to improve. A table cover is definitely on my shopping list, and I think instead of relying on my QR code, I’m going to put together a binder filled with photos of my custom work so people can flip through everything I’ve made. Every market is a chance to grow, and I’m already excited to make the next one even better.

I also want to give a huge thank you to the Sandy Grange for hosting such a wonderful event. Everyone was so welcoming, and I learned so much about everything they do for our community. They serve delicious meals during events, have amazing pastries, and even host bingo on the 1st and 3rd Fridays (dinner at 6, bingo at 7). If you’ve never stopped by, you definitely should!

Most of all… thank you.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by my booth, bought a treat, sampled something, complimented my display, encouraged me, or simply took the time to chat with me.

And finally, thank you to my boyfriend. ❤️ When our daughter was born, you supported my dream of staying home with her and building this business instead of going back to work. There were moments this weekend where I looked around my booth and thought, “I can’t believe this is real.” I truly never thought I’d make it to this point, and I wouldn’t be here without your belief in me.

I left this weekend exhausted, incredibly proud, and more motivated than ever. I already can’t wait for my next market.

This is only the beginning of Mama Mia Makes, and I can’t wait to see where this journey takes us. 🌸🩷

My sister is a huge Love Island fan, so I decided to surprise her with a set of custom birthday cake pops inspired by the show! 🌴💖

These were sherbet flavored and decorated with bright villa-inspired colors, champagne, heart shaped locks, Polaroids, and lots of love. Her reaction made every minute worth it—she was so surprised, happy, and genuinely impressed. 🥹🩷

One of my favorite little details? I found the cutest wedding-themed mold in the Michaels clearance section for a DOLLAR!! It ended up fitting this theme perfectly!

Making custom treats that bring this kind of joy is exactly why I love what I do. 💕
