After such a wonderful time off with my family, I’m so excited to say… I’M BACK! 🤎🥖

Orders are officially open for next week, and the fall menu is here! 🧡🍎 I’ve missed being in the kitchen and baking for you guys! Thank you so much for giving me this time to slow down and enjoy my family. It means more than you know. 🤎

I was outside cleaning out one of my sourdough buckets today, swirling my hand around in the water trying to get all the starter out, and it just made me think about Jesus washing feet.

Because honestly, cleaning sourdough jars is not exactly the fun part. It’s messy, it’s inconvenient, and nobody is excited to do it. But it’s part of the process.

And I thought… isn’t that kind of what Jesus was showing us when He washed feet? Sometimes having a heart like Jesus looks like being willing to do the small, unseen things that aren’t glamorous and that nobody else wants to do.

“Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet.” — John 13:14 🤍

I have been LOVING my break so far 🤎 I’ve been soaking up so much extra time with my kids and husband, slowing down and just being present with my family. Alongside that, I’ve really been pressing into the Lord for vision, direction, comfort, and peace for where He is leading me and our family next.

And man… when you press into Him, does He not SHOW UP and SHOW OUT?! 🙌🏼 I have been completely in awe and honestly just struck by some of the things He has spoken and shown me during this time. I don’t have the whole plan, but knowing He is guiding every step is such an incredible feeling. It’s one of those things you really can’t explain until you experience it for yourself. 🤍

With all that being said, in my downtime I’m still baking at home and working on the FALL MENU for when I come back! I’ve tested one so far and YES… it is AMAZING. 👏🏼🍂 I’ll be posting the fall menu sometime over the next week, and orders will open around October 9th for a bake day/pickup on Thursday, October 15th!

Wow. What a day today has truly been. 🤍

As I sit here thinking about how I was able to bless so many different moms today, I am just in awe of the Lord.

For the last couple of weeks, I’ve been praying that my heart would never become too hardened or too focused on myself to help someone else or be there for someone, even when it costs me something.

I’m not going to lie… today when the Lord told me to bake all of the extras and give them away, I went back and forth with Him. 😂 I literally added up how much I could have made from everything.

And then He spoke so clearly to my heart: “Is it Mine or is it yours?”

And ultimately, every single thing is His.

I don’t do this for the money. I don’t need the money. The Lord has blessed me and my little family far beyond anything I could have ever imagined. I truly want to do all of this unto the Lord.

“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord.” — Colossians 3:23

That is the heart behind 4K Baked. 🤍

I really hope you all know that the heart of this business is to bless the people around me. Every Scripture that goes on each individual package is something I pray will bless you, encourage you, and give you something to stand on that will never fail.

And getting to do all of this alongside my mom is something I will never take for granted. There are so many things I could say, but I’ll keep them between us. 😂 I know there are seasons where we have to trust the Lord even when we don’t fully understand what He is doing, and I truly believe He is doing something far greater than what we can see right now.

To get to work alongside my mom for the Kingdom of God is one of the sweetest gifts. Even when we’re both in our own moods, 😂 there is truly nothing more special than getting to do this with her.

I pray that the Lord continues to use 4K Baked for far more than just bread. I pray it continues to be a place where people feel loved, encouraged, prayed for, and reminded of Jesus.

May God bless each and every one of you who follows along, supports me, orders, shares, prays, or simply cheers me on. I love you all so much, and I appreciate your love and support more than you could ever know. 🤍

This morning while I was praying and baking, I very clearly felt the Lord tell me to bake everything extra that I had and give it all away. 🤍

So along with the mom who won the original giveaway, there are a few more things that will be given away today. But I want to share the story behind the first one.

As I was praying about who the bread was for, I felt strongly in my spirit to choose Samantha Kothe. I immediately went to my mom and said, “Guess who the winner is for the bread?” Without knowing what I had heard, her FIRST guess was Samantha. 🥹

We knew we had to look up her name and her children’s names and see what the Lord had to say through them. And honestly, the meanings and Scriptures felt so intentional.

Samantha
Her inherit meaning is listener, with the spiritual connotation of being attentive to God’s voice. Her scripture is Job 22:28
“Whatever you decide to do will be accomplished and light will shine on the road ahead of you.”

Waylinn
Her inherit meaning is path, with the spiritual connotation being pointing to the path of life, the straight, divinely appointed road God has set before us. Her scripture being Proverbs 4:18
“The path of the righteous is like the morning sun, shining ever brighter till the full light of day.”

Jett
His name carries the meaning of hidden value and strength, with the spiritual picture of beauty being born through pressure, something refined through trials and made uniquely valuable. His scripture is Colossians 3:14 “And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.”

I don’t believe this bread is just bread. 🥹🍞

This morning the Lord reminded me that He sees people individually, He knows their names, and He can use something as simple as a loaf of bread to remind someone that He is near.

So Samantha, I pray this bread is a little reminder that the Lord sees you and your babies, that He is leading your family, and that He is faithful in every season.
