We’re revisiting a few favorite posts while enjoying our anniversary week off, and this one was too good not to share again! 🥰

Just a little reminder that we won’t be restocking our sourdough at Fresh4Less this Friday, October 30, but we’ll be back with fresh loaves next week!

We’ve delivered another fresh batch of our homemade sourdough to Fresh4Less in Bernalillo!

Pick up a loaf while you’re shopping and bring a little homemade goodness to your weekend table. 🧡

🌻 A little heads-up! Our family will be taking next week off, so there will be no sourdough delivery on Friday, October 30th.

If you’d like to have some bread on hand, this is a great weekend to stock up! Our sourdough freezes beautifully, too! 🥖

🍞 Behind the Bread | Meet Our Sourdough Starter!

Not all sourdough starters are bubbly jars of liquid!

Our baker keeps ours as a stiff starter, meaning it’s made with less water and has a thick, dough-like consistency.

It’s still full of the wild yeast and beneficial bacteria that make sourdough possible! This firmer style gives us another way to manage fermentation and keep our bread consistent from batch to batch.

Just flour, water, time, and a whole lot of care. 🧡
